Leo Child — Virgo Parent
Virgos are mostly realists, but their nature, striving for perfection, gives them the appearance of idealists. To achieve excellence, Virgo deems it her duty first to notice a twig in someone else’s eye. Leo likes to impress others. But next to the parent-Virgo Leo it is difficult to win the audience: the spectacle will not capture the whole Virgo and it will not hurt to focus on the little things. The Maid will look at all the details with an appraising glance until the last, while Leo would rather just deserve to praise!
If the Virgo is primarily modest, lowly and confidently doing the work behind the scenes, Leo deliberately attracts his views and intends to prove his uniqueness. The lion is convinced: he was born to rule, and the presence of the Virgo parent nearby makes him think that he will have to reconcile himself to the second roles before he finally achieves a well-deserved recognition.
Virgo Mother — Leo Child
Virgo mom is struck by the tirelessness of her little Leo. He is always on the move, and she hardly rides after him. He is full of ideas, always wants to be at the very center of events and thus very different from a mother who is shy, modest, practical and sees all the shortcomings in her child’s grand plans.
It’s better if Mom leaves her criticism to herself, even if she wants to help this little Lion. He is so cheerful when full of fire and enthusiasm! Well, why jerk it off, because the Lion, who failed, is a sad sight. And is it necessary to deprive him of his inspiration?
Lions want to live widely, and it’s hard for Virgo mom not to start talking about various trifles. Nevertheless, she should try not to do this, because the proud Leo needs another - in praise, encouragement, warmth, adoration and approval. Do not knock him down, do not deprive him of his height - his sense of pride is more fragile than it seems, and it is very important that he does not lose it.
Mother-Virgo prefers to understand events, and not to listen to emotions, and often she is not up to tenderness. But the little Leo likes to press his mother once more! Do not consider this a stupidity, not worthy of attention - a child really needs it.
A Lion can become a domineering little person, endlessly demanding juice, a sandwich, or a new shirt. He seems to think he’s a little prince! Well, his mother’s helpfulness is only to his hand. So it does not prevent from time to show firmness, putting it in place. This will do him good in the future, since there is a danger that he will grow up taking all this for granted. It is better to play on his innate nobility, because he has a kind heart and he does not want anybody harm. Of course, the mother is pleased to see this in her child, especially since the Virgo herself wants to be useful!
And of course the Virgo admire the flawless manners of Leo, although she does not really want to admit it. In the depths of her soul, she hopes that someday she will learn how to order something to others, without offending them, as somehow Leo succeeds in this: he tells his classmates what they need to do, and they accept it with joy. So, looking at this, the mother bores herself with the hope that someday her little Leo will necessarily become some big personality.
Virgo Father — Leo Child
The discreet dad-Virgo is ready to consider himself a tamer when confronted with his overactive little Leo, his irrepressible energy and endless ideas. Virgo believes that all this needs to be streamlined and that it is the father who is the very person who can help the child to direct his efforts to the real business, choosing among the many interests something really worthwhile.
But the Virgo father should remember that Leo should not be pressured, but the Virgo fears that the restless little Leo will break the habitual order in the house, and tries too hard to calm the child. It is much better to give Leo a reasonable freedom and an opportunity for self-expression, because he is ready to come to despair only because he is constantly expected exemplary behavior.
But the good manners, and the rules of communication, which the Virgo will train his Lion, will be very welcome. They will prove to be a counterbalance to his selfishness, allowing him to think that everyone else should serve him. Father-Virgo hopes that his child will be happy to help around the house, leaving all mothers, and he will be very angry if Leo refuses to clean up at least for himself. Father certainly wants only the best for his child. He will work hard to give him every opportunity to study. He will disclose to him the meaning of money, which the Lion will be able to earn, having received an education. And he will tell him how to practice his really bright ideas in practice. Yes, this father is ready to teach the Lion to live in the real world.
Unfortunately, the father does not understand the youth rebellion, and everyone will have a hard time, when a teenager-Leo will start behaving defiantly and rebel against any discipline. Virgo recognizes in her house only the order and will not tolerate the Leo’s power behavior, so that military operations can not be avoided.
But when the time comes for responsible exams, it is the father who will provide Leo with real help, teaching him how to approach the study of the subject, how to get things done, but without unnecessary haste. And thanks to the advice of his father, Leo should show the best results in the exam - after all, he does not agree to anything less!
